Queen Latifah hosted the Peoples Choice Awards Wednesday night. The people, the people!
Throughout the night, Latifah made sure we remembered that the people voted.
People’s Choice Awards 2011 is the 37th year of the award show highlighting what the people love, but this year don’t expect the presenters to be reading a piece of paper to tell us who won, they have a cell phone instead. The Kyocera Zio phone is the latest technology for the Peoples Choice Awards to announce the winners.=
In a special case the Zio will be pulled out and the winner will be read to the public. This technology driven moment will definitely have a great influence on the audience as many of the fans who have voted definitely are heavy technology users.=
The winners of tonight’s award show definitely can thank the 175 million voters who wanted to celebrate their favorites by voting for music, movie and television nominees. Hosted by Queen Latifah, the ceremony is held at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.
